"Girl Found Alive Among Bodies"

Crime scene investigators should have correct training before being allowed to work on cases. On September, 5 2012 two British woman and a man were found dead in their car in the foothills of the Alps in Eastern France. The investigators sent to the scene, however failed to notice a young girl cowering under the legs of a dead woman. She was, and had been, alive and hiding for 8 hours while the police investigators had failed to notice her.
If the investigators on scene would have immediately accounted for and checked all the bodies, this 8 year old would have not laid in terror for 8 hours straight. Eric Mailliud told reporters that the child was "probably terrorized, completely concealed, completely immobile amid the corpses." Understandably, if a child is so terrified that she does not move for 8 hours, it is easy to assume the worse considering the circumstance, but it was also stated that a heat sensing camera failed to pick up her presence. How can that be? A malfunction perhaps? Or maybe it was the fault of someone working on the scene. Seemingly, if the investigators on scene would have had proper training they would have been able to identify the survived victims immediately. They would have known proper means of checking each body found to determine its state and the girl would have been given proper medical and psychological care as soon as they arrived. It is sad that this small girl hid alone and terrified for 8 hours because of mistakes these investigators made.

September 11th Inference Paragraph

Some people may claim that rebuilding the world trade centers is a bad idea because it is leaving us open for being attacked again. I believe however that they are rebuilding the towers not only because it was a necessary building for our economy, but because it will display the pride and and bravery of our nation. It is said in the info-graph that the new WTC tower will be 1,776 feet while the previous tower was only 1,368 feet high. Also this new tower is being made with high grade concrete and steel. It is being made bigger and better. If we were to not rebuild the tower it would portray that our nation was to afraid of being attacked again and it would be prohibiting necessary economic growth for our nation.

1. Unwind by Neal Shusterman
This book seems like it has a good plot and story line. The main theme of the book sounds interesting and I hope that I will be a good book to read.

2. Gone Girl  by Gillian Flynn
This book seemed good because it is a type of police murder mystery novel. I like to read mystery books because the usually do not have dull chapters. The plot sounded very good.

3. Slide by Jill Hathaway
This is the first book and has a second one coming out next year. It has a very captivating story line. The main character has the ability to "slide" into another persons mind and witness what is happening to them, in that moment, through their eyes.

In this book 14 kids become trapped inside a superstore. While inside major natural disasters and chemical clouds and devastating the outside world. They are trapped inside and all of their family and friends trapped outside.

This book had a lot of pretty good reviews, so that is why I picked it for my Bucket List. In this book there is a controlled world and there are five different "fractions" of people.

The book Ashed is about Alex, a sixteen year old girl, who is caught in the woods alone when a strange phenomena occurs. She is left disoriented with no way of knowing what has happened and who else it has effected.

7. The Host by Stephanie Meyer
I have been planning to read this book for awhile but I haven't ever gotten around to it. Its plot has always sounded interesting, but it is not on my list of top books to read.

8. Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
This book is a typical teen love story that may have a twist to it. This is why I out this book on the list.

9. The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
The title of this book sounded familiar to me so that probably means that somebody, in the past, has suggested this book to me. It is another love story by the same author as above.

10. The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
This sounded like a good book to me because it is a fiction book with a lot of good reviews.
